Job Description:
A company is looking for a Concept Development Analyst within
the Clinical Chart Validation team.
Key Responsibilities
Spearhead the creation and implementation of inpatient claim
selection rules for payment integrity
Investigate and identify coding and billing issues, collaborating
with various teams to enhance audit processes
Monitor and update concept criteria and logic to reflect changes in
legislation and billing practices
Required Qualifications and Education
Minimum of 5 years of experience in inpatient coding or DRG
validation auditing
Mastery of APR-DRG methodology is required
Bachelor's or graduate degree in a related health field
preferred
AAPC or AHIMA coding certification preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic
data analysis
